Ingredients:
Bread
Peanut butter
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
Method:
Roll out the bread with a rolling pin until it’s smooshed flat.
Put a thin layer of peanut butter (roughly the same thickness as the bread)
Sprinkle on brown sugar and cinnamon
Roll it into a log

Cinnamon

Cut the log into small rounds
They make great desserts and kids LOVE them! (Well, at least my kid loved them). I used whole wheat bread and not very much brown sugar (maybe 1 tsp) so they weren't all that unhealthy (at least as desserts go).

ReplyDeletePaula-I think that whole grain bread, organic sugar free peanut butter and a little brown sugar are pretty healthy for a dessert. If you're worried about the brown sugar they are delicious with just cinnamon. :)
